Overweight is not a pure genetic, metabolic or eating disorder. While all of this is a part of obesity, overweight basically has a deep psychological causes and they are often buried deep within our subconsciousness. That is why we are usually not AWARE of the main problem in the first place and we tend to blame our eating habits, social environment, our genes, etc.
Maybe we simply like to eat or tend to eat because eating makes us happy. You may THINK that this is true and may even want to argue, but let me remind you of the fact that being overweight does NOT make you happy. Am I right?
Overweight people are NOT happy people. They may feel indifferent about their condition, but they are NEVER happy! If you are overweight and think you are happy about it, ask yourself are you REALLY happy or are you just lying yourself because it makes you feel better? I know I did.
Let me give you a little psychological slap by saying that YOU are overweight because YOU wish to be overweight (on the subconscious level). You may wish to lose weight but that is merely your wish on your conscious level. The problem lies on your subconscious level where you wish to be overweight and it contradicts your conscious wish.
The bigger problem is that we are UNAWARE of our subconscious desires and YES, they can affect our hunger. That is the main reason why diets fail. If you think I am talking nonsense just ask yourself why are you overweight and be honest to yourself. You will see that there is more to it than a simple food craving. The key to achieve rapid weight loss lies in YOUR OWN MIND! This is the MOST IMPORTANT cause and you must resolve it if you wish to truly lose weight and maintain an ideal figure. If you skip this step you will ALWAYS return to your overweight problem sooner or later. You must first realize and become AWARE that your problem is in your subconscious desire to be overweight and you must make a DETERMINATION to change it. I am not talking about simple determination to stick to a diet, or food supplement, etc. I am talking about determination to change YOURSELF both mentally & physically. Diets and food supplements are only tools that can help along way…

To embark upon this vegetarian adventure, I would definitely recommend starting with well designed meal plan to get you used to eating, cooking and preparing healthy vegetarian meals. These meal plans should be quick and easy to realistically fit in with your busy life. A vegetarian diet weight loss plan should have lots of protein, greens and natural fiber, vitamins and nutrients.
